Dear Summer...Are You Finally Here?

Well, I hope so. Because I got my hair lopped off in anticipation...no sweaty neck this year!

New hood...or is it?

First, the Jesus Bus I was behind on my commute this a.m., but that's just for Jennie.

Secondly (and more importantly) - So our CRC team has finally moved out of our cushy, corporate home in the sky into our new community-friendly location. Our CRC is pretty awesome and brand new - I am totally digging our deluxe stainless steel, appliance-filled lunchroom and, of course, the free delicious coffee and snacks, of which I've been enjoying for months now that I am a whore to the corporate life.

I am still downtown, but much closer now to my old stomping grounds...and you know what that means? No...not "pancakes and hos". Yep - free pregnancy tests and fried chicken at the bus stop. Ahh....it finally feels like home...homie.

Birthday Beaver Turns 1

Here the "Megs the Birthday Beaver" enjoys some milk out of a big-girl sippy then destroys a minature version of her Tinkerbell birthday cake (she needed a bath to get the cake out of her hair before she opened her gifts). Pebbles Flinstone-esqe ponytail exclusively created by Miss Apers. Check out the chompers in the first photo - I think it might be time to get her fit for a "grill".
