Jennie-Con & April-Con
Last weekend, GenCon was in town again and it was RPG madness. We went for drinks downtown on Friday night and Jennie and I scouted for participants before and after a few mojitos - we were not disappointed. Grown men carrying game boards, Gandolfs and people in "I am the One True Dungeon Master" shirts were everywhere!
The next day, we planned our entire afternoon around scouring downtown Indy with Jennie's great camera to get the best shots. We ended up in the 4-bucks at the Westin Hotel just in time for the costume contest - yes, that's what I said.
At the end of our day, I decided upon getting a "Level 69 Dungeon Master" t-shirt made for next year, but Jennie was right in saying that probably wouldn't work - the serious gamers would not get my attempt at humor and would probably be more likely to scold me and tell me there wasn't a level 69 at all. Oh, well...good times. *It should be noted that I did not see my brother - but I called him and he was insanely jealous.
